Kevin Miller and the Nervogen Pro team have not published any clinical studies or scientific studies showing that the supplement works as advertised. As far as we know, the company has not tested its formula on animals or humans for its effects on diabetic neuropathy.

However, Kevin has an excuse for the lack of scientific evidence. Kevin states that he and his team ran a test but were unable to publish it:

“Nowhere comes the disgusting part. We have tried to publish our study. We figured everyone would jump for joy at the chance to get their name on a neuropathy solution. But this is not the case. The neuropathic industry is projected to reach $ 9.8 billion between 2020 and 2027. Why would they want a simple and powerful remedy on the market that does what a lot of pharmaceuticals can't?

Obviously, we cannot find any evidence that this statement is true. Even if this were true, that doesn't stop Kevin from posting his study online on his own website.

There is no evidence that Nervogen Pro has any positive effects, although we will look at some of the scientific evidence supporting the ingredients in Nervogen Pro.

The most important ingredient in Nervogen Pro is passionflower extract. The formula contains 145 mg of passionflower extract. According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, passionflower is commonly used for anxiety, with people taking up to 800 mg of passionflower extract per day for general anxiety.

In this 2016 study, researchers specifically analyzed the effects of passionflower on diabetic neuropathy. The researchers gave the passionflower extract to the mice and found that the passionflower extract "could be useful for treating neuropathic pain." The rats received a dose of 200 mg to 600 mg of passionflower extract per kg.

Many sleep aids contain passionflower extract. In this 2017 study, researchers tested the effects of passionflower extract on rats, finding that a dose of 500 mg per kg helped the rats fall asleep and enjoy a more restful sleep.

The dosage of Nervogen Pro is much lower than that found in other passionflower supplements or used in passionflower studies. Studies in rats, for example, used a dose of 500 mg to 600 mg per kg. Although passionflower appears to work by positively affecting GABA, the dose of passionflower in Nervogen Pro hasn't been shown to work in any large-scale human studies.

Nervogen Pro also contains marshmallows, corydalis, prickly pear, and California poppy extract for neuropathy. We can find few studies showing that these ingredients help with neuropathy in humans at the dosages listed.

This 2016 study found that corydalis extracts were widely used to treat pain and inflammation, including pain caused by neuropathy. The researchers analyzed the evidence on corydalis and found that it helped with neuropathic pain by antagonizing dopamine and D2 receptors. Based on this evidence, the researchers concluded that some corydalis extracts "may be a candidate for an alternative pain treatment."

It sounds good for corydalis, although most studies use a dose of 20mg to 500mg per kg, a significantly higher dose than what we see in Nervogen Pro.

According to this 2018 study published in the Iranian Journal of Basic Medical Sciences, some herbal extracts have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and neuroprotective effects that could affect diabetic nerve pain, although they are different herbal extracts and dosages than we see. in Nervogen Pro.

To make matters worse for Nervogen Pro is that the supplement's "References" page lists only three studies. One study looked at the effects of neuropathy on rats, another study showed corydalis was ineffective at doses of 10 mg per kg, and the third study cited analyzes fear and anxiety, not herbal extracts.

Overall, there is limited research on any Nervogen Pro ingredient or dosage that could significantly improve neuropathy symptoms, reduce diabetic nerve pain, or provide other benefits to diabetics struggling with nerve pain.
